Empowerment Of Village Government , Community ServicesAbstract
This research aims to analyze the empowerment of the Village Government in the context of community services in Wera District, Bima Regency. Village government has a vital role in the Indonesian government system, especially in organizing and managing community interests based on recognized origins and customs. UU no. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages regulates the village government system and emphasizes the importance of improving the quality of village officials through education and training. The research results show that the empowerment of the Village Government in Wera District has not been optimal, which is caused by several factors such as a lack of attention to community aspirations, poor development planning, and limited facilities and infrastructure. Apart from that, village officials in Wera District are also poorly trained, which has an impact on the quality of services provided. This research recommends several steps to increase Village Government empowerment, including increasing work productivity through education and training, as well as improving facilities and infrastructure. Apart from that, supervision and monitoring by the Regional Government is also needed to ensure the effectiveness of Village Government empowerment and services. It is hoped that improving the quality of services can accelerate development and meet the needs of village communities, especially in Wera District, Bima Regency.
