The publication and administrative workflows of the journal are managed collaboratively by STKIP Harapan Bima NTB and STES Harapan Bima NTB. These institutions provide the essential infrastructure, IT support, hosting environment, and regulatory governance for the journal's electronic publishing operations. All manuscript handling—from initial desk submission, double-blind peer review, copyediting, and Crossref DOI minting to final galley dissemination—is executed systematically via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
3. Journal Management
The Journal Economics Science and Administration is managed by an independent editorial board led by Editor-in-Chief Suhartanto, S.E, S.Pd., S.Kom, M.A.P. The editorial team comprises qualified scholars and disciplinary experts across microeconomics, macroeconomics, business, finance, and public administration. The editorial management is responsible for:
Overseeing initial manuscript screening, similarity checks (Turnitin), and desk rejections.
Coordinating an objective, double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent expert reviewers per manuscript.
Enforcing publication ethics, retraction guidelines, and anti-misconduct protocols aligned with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Supervising the biannual production pipeline to ensure that accepted articles are finalized, formatted, and published accurately in January and July.
4. Editorial Independence
The journal firmly adheres to the principle of complete editorial independence. While the publishing institutions (STKIP Harapan Bima NTB and STES Harapan Bima NTB) provide financial, technical, and institutional hosting, they do not interfere with editorial decision-making. Decisions to accept, revise, or reject a submitted manuscript rest entirely on the academic merit, empirical validity, methodological rigor, and relevance of the work, guided by peer-reviewer evaluations and editorial board consensus. Publication decisions remain strictly insulated from commercial, political, personal, or institutional pressures.
5. Transparency and Accountability
The Journal Economics Science and Administration maintains absolute transparency regarding its organizational ownership, publishing entity, operational management, peer-review model, author fees, and ethical standards. All regulatory guidelines, author requirements, copyright policies, and archiving practices are made publicly available on the journal's official portal. Any governance updates, editorial appointments, or structural changes within the publishing institutions are promptly updated on the masthead to maintain institutional transparency and accountability before national accreditation bodies and international indexers.
