Authorship Criteria

The Journal Economics Science and Administration (ESA) adheres to high ethical standards regarding authorship to ensure that all individuals who have made significant contributions to the research are appropriately recognized, and that those recognized take responsibility for the published work.

To qualify as an author in this journal, an individual must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Substantial Contributions: Made a significant intellectual contribution to the conception and design of the study, the acquisition of data, or the analysis and interpretation of economic, business, or administrative data.

  2. Drafting or Critical Revision: Contributed to drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content related to the journal's scope.

  3. Final Approval: Provided final approval of the version of the manuscript to be published.

  4. Accountability: Agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the research are appropriately investigated and resolved.

Corresponding Author Responsibilities

The corresponding author acts as the primary point of contact during the submission, peer review, and publication processes. This individual is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and have agreed to its submission to the Journal Economics Science and Administration (ESA).

Acknowledgments (Non-Author Contributions)

Individuals who contributed to the research or manuscript but do not meet all four criteria for authorship (e.g., providing general administrative support, assisting with data collection, language editing, or providing research funding) should not be listed as authors. Instead, their contributions should be explicitly recognized in the Acknowledgments section of the manuscript, with their permission.

Changes to Authorship

Any requests to add, remove, or rearrange author names after the manuscript has been submitted must be sent to the Editor-in-Chief by the corresponding author. The request must include a clear justification for the change and written confirmation (via email) from all authors—including those being added or removed—indicating their agreement to the proposed changes. No changes to authorship will be permitted after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
